Lounge Sessions - Dani Lugosi

Dani Lugosi has been around the alt model scene for quite awhile. She took a little hiatus, however she's decided to really quick it up a notch and work supremely hard this year. She travelled up to Sydney from Melbourne recently which gave us the opportunity to work together. I think she's such a beautiful person who is totally bad ass also and we got along like a house on fire. I cannot wait to watch her explode onto the scene again because big things are destined for this little lady.

Aveda Colour Harmony 2012

Christie is the lovely friend of the amazing Kelly Ann Doll (one of Australia's most amazing burlesque and pin up stars!) who I had the pleasure of working with once before. She is also one super talented hair stylist and asked me to lend a hand on her entry for the 2012 Aveda Colour Harmony Awards. Her work is flawless and I loved working on this with her and some of my old favourites.
Beauty shots aren't something I do a great deal of so again it was one of those opportunities to challenge myself to make them interesting to look at and flawless at the same time. But seriously, look at who I was working with, it wasn't the worst thing in the world!

Since shooting with Lady Medusa last year, we formed a really great working relationship. We adore each others work and I know I follow what she does quite closely as I think she's just an all round genius!

She approached me with this idea for this shoot, that was a little Bettie Page inspired and something I had not done before. I'm always the type to push myself creatively so I instantly said yes, and boy am I glad I did. To date these are some of my most favorite images I've taken.
